Hi Experts,

We have a scenario:

1. FG1 is Planned and Produced in the Plant XXXX

2. A BOM component (C1) of FG1 used in the Plant XXXX

3. But C1 is manufactured in the Plant YYYY

We need the requirement of C1 to be  transferred to the plant YYYY from the plant XXXX while Planning run is done  for FG1 in the Plant XXXX.

I have searched it but not able conclude. need your expert comments.

Hi

Just create a special procurement type on transaction OMD9 (as a copy of 40) and define plant YYYY as the supplying plant.

Then add this special procurement for component on plant XXXX and run MRP. System will create stock transfers and you will see the requirement on plant YYYY.

Caetano

Hi,

You should use the special procurement key. This SPK is configured with transaction OMD9.

You need to create a key in plant XXXX to transfer the requirement to plant YYYY. (Special Procurement U for Stock Transfer).

Then the new SPK can be assigned in the materials master of your component C1 or direclty in the BOM at component level.

Try and let us know.

Kind Regards,

Mariano
