Hiding Personal Information BizCard in Personal Profile

Former Member

Hello,

Our development team has been able to successfully hide entire BizCards in the following fashion:

1) Brazil - shows Address, Personal Information, Communication, Bank Information, and Family Members

2) US - shows a new custom BizCard we created to collect Disability and Veteran Status information (infotype 77).

The requirement is that the US only show the new custom BizCard initially.  We are adding Address, Personal Information, Communication, and Bank Information later this year, but not for several months.  We have been able to hide all of these BizCards except for Personal Information.  Is there some requirement or restriction that will not let us show just the custom BizCard on the profile initially?  Is there some requirement or restriction in SAP that will not let us hide the Personal Information BizCard?

We have legal requirement to survey our US employee population regarding disability and veteran status and needed to do this in March before we will have time to test the other BizCards.  I need Personal Information to disappear temporarily!!

Also note they were able to hide all the fields on the Personal Information section once you go to edit, but we need the BizCard not to show on the profile page.

Thanks,

Wendy Miller

Our development team figured out they were trying to change the setting in the wrong place.  They were able to hide the personal data biz card successfully.

Simple is to create a custom config and remove the unwanted apps.

Here is the screenshot of what we are trying to do.  The other BizCards are hidden but Personal Data will not go away.

typically there are three types of UIBBs •FPM_FORM_UIBB •FPM_TABB_UIBB •FPM_LIST_UIBB The last one (LIST_UIBB) is responsable for the overview. You have correctly hidden it, in your config, can you show your screen what it looks like? after doing above changes?
