How to Freeze column width when refreshing an AO Query

Hello Everyone,

In 3.X Bex Analyzer users can able to freeze the crosstab columns after refreshing the bex workbook.

Now we have coverted the 3.X query to 7.X query and created the AO WB.

Users are familier with freezing the column width in Bex and we would like to know, how this can be achieved in AO.

Looking forward for your inputs.

Thanks,

John.

Hi John,

On analysis for office you can set the "width"  and uncheck the box highlighted on the image below so it will remains as you want.

What version of AO are you running?  I don't see that option, when running against a HANA Live model.

Hi Mark,

I'm using Analysis for Office 1.4.12.

Could you please confirm that this is the version that you are using?

Thanks,

Hi Diego,

Thanks for the reply.  I'm using 1.4.10.3290

I've attached a screen shot of the AOffice splash screen when it opens.

AOffice is consuming a calculated view from our HANA environment.  I've included a screen shot of the settings available.

Cheers,

Mark

Hi Mark,

Check on the screenshot that I attached on my first reply that I selected the crosstab.

On your screenshot you are selecting the 10150715 commodities.xlsx. Open the node "Stock overview...." and select directly the crosstab, All properties will change and you will be able to see the correct one.

Thanks,
Diego.

Hi Diego,

Thanks for the speedy reply!

It works slick.  Very well hidden feature.

Case closed.

I should probably start a new thread here, but I'll try to sneak one in.  I see that you're running 1.4.12.  I have been struggling to find where I can get the AOffice upgrades, and have failed.  Can you point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Mark
