Scheduling BEx query with out bex broadcaster

Hello Gurus,

Just wanted to know is there any way to run the schedule the bex query with out the bex broadcaster.We are in the Bex 3.5 environment.

It seems we can use ABAP Program to call the bex query and display the out put in the file and schedule using ABAP Program.

Is there any easy way to schedule the bex query wit out the bex broadcaster.

Hi Magge,

what do you want to do with the query result?

If you want to send it to another system, store it to DSO or so on, you could insert the query into APD.

The run the APD in a process chain.

Thank You ALL . This will be going out of the BW and this is a requirement for an APO System where underlying system is BW. We can not have the BEx broadcaster in the APO system . So trying out

the different option to schedule. Thought of using RRW3_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA this function module in ABAP Program and schedule ABAP Program.Not sure if APD functionality works in 3.5 . I will have to check. Tyring to explore different options.Thank you for your answers.

You can use RSCRM_BAPI tcode or

RS_VC_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA_FLAT function module to read query
