FIORI Client app in Mobile

Hello Friends,

I am working on the FIORI apps and while trying to enter user name and password in FIORI client mobile app, it keeps spinning and not able to enter username.

But, I am able to enter username and password in browser and its working.

Have anyone faced issue like this?

Hi Srikanth ,

I have previously configured my Fiori landscape with Android Fiori Client , and it worked very well.

What are your system details ?

Note : Make sure you have also met the prerequisites.

1)SAP Fiori Client supports Android 4.1.3 and higher and iOS 6 and higher.

2)The SAP Fiori Client requires the following components to be installed on the servers:

> SP05 of the SAP UI Add-On Ver. 1.0 (software component UI_INFRA)

> SAP NetWeaver 7.40 SP04 (SAP_UI)

Hi Srikanth,

SAP_UI component have all the UI foundation so you already have it.

Srikanth,

Try following:

- If you are using HTTPS connection, then you will need to import certificate (ignore if you are not)

- go to setting>select clear cache>logging enabled>log level (debug)

- try reinstalling the app

On top of what Kiran provided, can you confirm when you said you used the browser, you are referring to the device browser correct or Desktop?

I am not sure if you mentioned your device was it iOS or Android?

Hi,

In both Mobile & desktop browser its working. But, when i try to enter username, it starts spinning in both IoS & Android.

Hi Srikanth,

This issue is new to me. Could you give the screen shot of the issue you are facing.

Is it a custom Fiori client or the one download from app store ?

Change the log level of the app to debug level and find more information on the issue. Alternatively you can connect your device with system and find the logs in android SDK.

Did you try with other Fiori apps? like Approve Purchase Orders

Hi Midhun,

It is standard FIORI client from App store. It is not about which app, the issue is we are not able to get inside to the app. If we click on the tab to enter user name, it starts spinning.

As you said, we will try to check by debugging the app and let you know.

Are you sure you are using correct Gateway URL? your screen shows SAP Portal login? or in case are you using Fiori iView in Fiori Client, you need to address the SSO portion first.

initially , I think you should try to change the Fiori Login screen Theme at System Logon Configuration.

Please have a look at this thread to achieve it .

Once the Logon screen is set as required (traditional flower screen) . please check your single signon configuration,

Also do you find any errors as in the below screen when accessing the Fiori Logon screen in desktop?

Thanks for the reply.

Basis has opened the connection to Internet through HTTPS by calling the standard URL.

Yes, it is FIORI client app screen and not browser screen. We dont have SSO yet and basis team is working on it.
