BED rounding off is not correct - CIN

Hi Gurus,

I am facing a problem when I am creating the excise invoice after commercial invoice then the rounding rule is not working correctly.

As per the scenario the rounded value suppose to be 884 not 885 because the value is less than 50 Paisa.

I have already checked many thread and did the settings like assigning the calc type 17, did the rounding off 100 in OB90.

But still the issue is not resolved.

Kindly suggest me how I will proceed further.

If I'm not mistaken, the condition value for excise invoice is captured based on Tax Determination Procedure. Therefore, check for rounding relevant configuration in Tax Procedure - TCode OBQ3 and for Tax Condition Type - TCode OBQ1.

Hi Mayank,

Please check in OBQ1 if you have selected any rounding rules for JEXP and JA1X. It should always be blank-Commercial.

Check this setting whether it is ticked.

SPRO-->Logistics - General-->Tax on Goods Movements-->India-->Basic Settings-->Maintain Company Code Settings

Check whether rounding rules checked.

Also refer this note.

Apart from the suggestions already given, you also need to check in IMG Logistics-General > Tax on Goods Movements > Basic Settings > Maintain Company Code Settings.  Here you would find a check box for "Rounding duty on removal".  Update whether it is checked or not
