Generation of Full Absence Quota after Confirmation

Hi Experts,

I have an issue with absence quota generation using time eval.

Here's the requirement:

Our client use RPTIME00 to generate earned leave quota which is accrued on month to month basis until he/she is confirmed.

User will get full leave starting the date they confirmation.

I'm able to generate earned leave quota using time eval and with time mgmt status = 7.

But I'm facing issue with generation full leave entitlement after employee has been confirmed through time eval.

For example, staff get 1.5 earned leave monthly from 01.01.2014 to 30/06/2014. But once his IT0041 confirmation date is set to 01.07.2014, the employee will get his full leave quota for the year. and starting from next year onwards, he will always get full entitlement on 1st jan.

Hi,

Let me understand your requirement as below details. Am i correct or not please confirm.

Per month he is getting 1.5 , so for the year is 18 quota. So from the 01.01.2014 to 30.06.2014 he is received 1.5*6= 9 quotas and after that when employee gets confirm on 01.07.2014 through IT41 then he will received rest 9 quotas to July2014 for the rest of the calender year. From the next calender onwards he will get 18 Quotas from the calender year.

If employee gets confirmation on 01.08.2014 then he will get 7.5 extra quotas on August2014 for the rest of calender year.

But if employee joined on 01.02.2014 and got confirmation on 01.09.2014 then what the quota value he will receive on the September2014.Please reply.

Ans: yes correct, and his absence quota is based on seniority, so for the first year, his absence quota entitlement is 18 days, but after 5 years it will be 24 days and so on.

If employee gets confirmation on 01.08.2014 then he will get 7.5 extra quotas on August2014 for the rest of calender year.

Ans: the quota will accrual on monthly basis. so if he join on 01.02.2014, so his quota will increase 1.5 days from 01.02.2014 to 31.08.2014 which is 10.5 and got confirmed on 01.09.2014, so on 01.09.2014 he should get  total entitlement of 17 days because it wasnt a full year.

I'm stuck at the pcr and do not know how do I write a PCR for this condition.

Ans: the quota will accrual on monthly basis. so if he join on 01.02.2014, so his quota will increase 1.5 days from 01.02.2014 to 31.08.2014 which is 10.5 and got confirmed on 01.09.2014, so on 01.09.2014 he should get  total entitlement of 17 days(i think it should be 16.5)  because it wasnt a full year.


Another question i have that probation period is 6months fixed or it depends?

This issue is now resolve.

I've use time eval with deduction rule to generate the full absence quota upon employee's confirmation.

Hi Paige,

Lets say probation period is for 6 months.

Create rule in base entitlement as mentioned below:

RuleSeq NoSeniorityEntitlementRelated to Period
0010010-6 Months1.5 DaysDate of Joining Length - 6 Months
0010026-12 Months9 DaysDate of ConfirmationLength - 6 Months
0010031-99 Years18 DaysDate of Joining Length - 12 Months

This works if you are generating quota based on DOJ. If you want to generate on Calender Days then make changes accordingly.
