How can I sort the Expense Type list presented in the "Create Expense Report"?

Hi guys,

I would like to sort in descending order the "Expense Type" list that is presented in the "Expense Report" as showed below.

Exist a way to sort this drop down list?

By default, it sorts alphabetically ascending. There is not a config option to change this.

You can however, add the keys (expense type numbers) and then it will sort numerically ascending by the keys.

Hi Carlos,

there is a badi to change the customizing "on-the-fly" when you use the web interface.

We are deleting entries in the list for users using the web interface. I assume you can also change the order list with this badi.

Here is our example. Instead of deleting entries you should try to sort "EXPENSE_TYPES"

Definition name for the badi is TRIP_WEB_CUSTOMIZING (use SE18 / SE19)

the easy way: add numeric prefix 01, 02, 03 in expense type customizing in the order you want. Easy to use. No coding.

Or go with the Badi already mentioned

Or create web dynpro enhancement with filter/ sort options
