Impact of technical upgrade to ECC6 EHP 7

Client is doing technical upgrade from ECC6 EHP5 to EHP7 (no business function activation). What could be the potential benefits of this as far as the performance of EAM related functionality is concerned?

Thanks Jogeswara, this was helpful but client is not implementing any business functions as of now but just doing the technical upgrade to EHP7. I am just wondering if you could provide me the impact of this technical upgrade on EAM related functionalities.

Greetings Tajinder, Jogeswara,

We've completed a technical upgrade to EHP7 just recently, and thus far have not observed notable impact on the PM (PPM) & WCM modules in the EAM area. It all seemed to go very peaceful in EAM in our particular setup... much less in Finance etc.

One functionality we've gotten in EHP7 that has had an impact on the end user was the fussy typeahead functionality in SAP GUI, which may affect you depending on your application setup.
