Hi Guys,
We have BODS 4.2 with Sybase IQ as Target Database and SAP as source..
During certain loads the commit is not happening automatically and we need to do commit thru sybase application.
I noticed this when we had 770 records to be loaded and the rows per commit was given as 10000 in the target.
Can anyone help me on this ? Is there any reason why the commit is not working Or any other setting needs to be done ?
In most of the other data load commit is happening automatically.
Thanks in advance
Divya
Hi,
Are you finding this problem after the dataflow has completed successfully?
If you have this table as a intermediary table where you capture data to perform analysis while dataflow is still running, then this is likely. Try reducing the number of rows per commit in this case. If your volumne is low then this wont have an impact on performance.
kind regards
Raghu

Are you using DOP on the dataflow?.Check
1.'Delay AutoCommit until statement close' option in ODBC connection.
or
2.If this happens on a particular table , try issuing the commit statement in target table's post load commands
