Monitoring in BI 4.0

Hi All,

We are planning to send mail to my group DL once the CMS service is down via BI monitoring featuring available. I am not getting option to send mail there, pleas help.

Environment: BI 4.0 SP6 patch 12

Hi Deepak,

Is this an clustered environment?

If you have a standalone Server then , as the CMS is the main server and does all most all the activities, you will not be able to send email when CMS is down...cause ther will be no service up and running if cms goes down.

Suggestion : You can monitor the CMS.exe by creating a batch file and scheduiling it, if its a windows server and also send emails using a utility called "blat"
