Hi All,

Upgraded client from 2007A to 8.82, then to 9.0PL14.

All done successfuly, except some client fail to login DTW, return an error (Connection to <server ip address> has failed, Error code : - 129 Connection with license server failed).

Some client can connect, some failed, means setting at server side should be correct, firewall should be ok, antivirus also should be ok.

Try to check on client pc which is fail, the conf file inside DIAPI folder point to correct server ip address, consider ok. reinstall DIAPI also not help.

Disable firewall and antivirus on client pc done, also not help.

Situation is, can show the company list, but failed when click OK button to login DTW.

Thanks and regards, greately appreciate for any idea that help to solve this problem.

Muhamad

Hi Nagarajan,

Still facing problem.

the weird thing is, can get the company list, but once try login return error Error code : - 129 Connection with license server failed.

antivirus, firewall all off already.

try between server name and ip also not work.

What you mean by "the setting under folder CONF for DIAPI also correct."?

Hi Nagarajan,

The Registry key value solved my problem.

Not sure why windows not auto update the value with new server name/ip.

1.3) On DTW log on the following error message appears: "Connection to <server name> has failed Error Code: 100000001 Connection with license server has failed"

  • Click on Start -> Run and type 'regedit'.
  • Ensure that the correct license server in entered under "\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\SAP DXWB B1\Login\License

Refer to SAP Note 884480.

Hi Muhamad,

Have you installed new DTW with 32 bits or 64 bits? Try 32 bits if not.

Thanks,

Gordon

Hi Gordon,

Thanks for your reply.

I installed 32 bits both SAP Business One Client and DTW.
