Hello,
we Import a structured file into CO-PA using programm RKEVEXT3.
We do it in HANA.
I get the following strange system behaviour:
Step 1: Create Export file (works, o.K.)
Step 2: Use RKEVEXT3
Result: Dump because SAP assumes (e.g.) that the customer number is sent to the period (i.e. mismatch).
But now:
Step 3: Repeat Step 1
Step 4: Repeat Step 2
=> And now it works fine. No no errors, data correct.
Does anyone have an explanation for that and/or a solution?
Thanks for any ideas
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
Kindly let us know what dump you were getting. Without knowing what error or dump you were getting it's difficult to tell you the root cause.

Hello Abhisek,
here it is:
";DA1;2;190" cannot be interpreted as a number.
...
The eception is assigned to class 'CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUMBER'...
Explanation from my side here:
1. We have a file with semi-colon-separated data.
For example: DA1;2;190
2. The content is correct.
3. The Sender structure is o.K. (matching with target CO-PA-fields)
4. Simply re-doing the runs does not lead to this error.
=>
My resulting issue is:
As soon as I switch the productive system (where everything runs smoothly at present)
to EHP7 I will be forced to - at least - make one "dummy-Import" to generate the error,
expecting that afterwards the error will no longer occur.
Tx
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
What you need to do is go to transaction ST22 and provide us the dump as attachment or you can also provide the search details from the dump. As you check the dump you find the dump name, include name and the program or function module name. If you can provide those details we can try to help.
Regards,
Abhisek
