Hi Everyone

I implemented Solman7.1 (it's my first time) and I tried to setup configuration. Now this step is saprouter's setup.

Therefore I installed saprouter and it's activated.

And once I checked the connection testing with sm59 -> ABAP Connections -> SAPOSS -> Connection test, I got a error massage below picture.

But I don't know what's problem. Please help me....

I have attached another setting (oss1)..

G'day, Sung,

The first step is to confirm whether your network configuration is correct. Use the NIPING tool as described in Note 500235 - Network Diagnosis with NIPING

As an aside, have you registered the SAP Router with SAP ?

See SAP Router Prerequisites on the SAP Support Portal and Note 28976 - Remote connection data sheet

Hello Sung,

As Martin suggested, did you confirm that the host on which you have installed SAProuter has a secure connection to SAP's support sites (i.e., sapservx)? You should have a tunnel configured between your SAProuter host and sapservx and be able to ping sapservx from your SAProuter host before anything else.

There's a great video tutorial on how to get this setup at . I recommend ensuring this part is working first.

Matt

Hi Sung,

For better understandings on concept of OSS1 setup,i would recommend you to first follow SAP KBA's   33135 - Guide for OSS1

22235 - OSS1: What to do, if R/3 does not run?

Both above KBA's will help you to setup OSS1 .

Gaurav

Hi Sung,

Entry is fine here.But

As your advice, I have changed the ip to local ip.

Here you entered wrong IP i.e 127.0.0.1 in OSS1. You need to give a proper local IP to your system, like an e.g

192.168.10.x  ( from local network IP range) .

So your host file will look like as

127.0.0.1   localhost.localdomain  localhost

192.168.10.x   < Hostname of server >

And similarly IP address under SAPRouter1 would be 192.168.10.x instead of 127.0.01 . Try to get in touch with your network Team to setup all these for you.

Hope this will help you.

Hi Sung,

sapdp99/tcp will be added under file C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\services.Also modify your host file as per my previous reply.

After that follow previous steps as well.

Hi Sung,

Could you please clear me for the IP used 210.107.96.152 ? I think this is public IP which you are using here.First you need to check with your Firewall experts for no blocking of ports on it,better to use local IP NAT with public IP.

Second please share host file of your system or try to maintain the entries as like below:

127.0.0.1  localhost.localdomain  localhost

<Server IP>  <Hostname>

Third you need to check for presence of entry

sapdp99 3299/tcp

under services file.Addition to all please follow SCN thread

Hope this will help you.

Gaurav
