Hi All,

Thanks for all your support..

We have resolved the issue by mapping the network drive in other server.

We are able to access the config tool from that server.

Hi Rana,

Thanks for your quick response.. We have gone through that Snote as it is saying to open config tool in OS400, but we don't have any idea to open config tool in OS400.

Please let us know how to open config tool in OS400 or can we open config tool remotely..

Hi krishna,

Hope you are doing good. You can use a tool like hummingbird exceed etc to access configtool on a UNIX flavour OS.
You can try the below to remotely login; there is no 100% guarantee that this will work cause SAP does not support remote config tool login:

  1. Back up the contents of the configtool directory
  2. Download CORETOOLS<latest SP release of your j2ee engine version>.SCA from the marketplace
    1. service.sap.com/support
    2. Software Downloads
    3. Support Packages and Patches
    4. Then browse to your SAP Netweaver J2ee version
    5. J2ee Engine Core Tools
  3. Extract from this SCA using a zip/rar tool the configtool.sda file
  4. From the configtool.sda extract the configtool.jar using a zip/rar tool (found in the lib directory)
  5. Replace the current ....j2ee\configtool\lib\configtool.jar with new configtool.jar
  6. Now you will be able to run the new configtool and edit the secure store from this directory .
