How can I bar an user to open another user's created lead from lead search.

Dear Gurus,

In my client suppose one user created one lead. When another user searches open leads from search option the existing leads are coming and he is able to open the leads but this lead is another's. How can I stop it, only the creator of the lead or the user whom it has been assigned will be able to open and edit it. Kindly help me.

Hi Roy

You could assign an Authorization Group to each user and then assign that to the Lead. Then SAP Standard Authorisations could manage the rest of your requirements.

Alternatively you'd probably need to go custom and use the "Created By" with some custom checks to restrict the access.
