Can we use more than 2 datasets as source in Lumira?

Hi,

I would like to know if we can use MORE than 2 data sources in Lumira?

Example-

1. Can I use 2 .xls files, SAP HANA view as data sources?
2. Can I use 3 .xls files as sources?

Is it possible? If yes, how can i merge or join more than 2 data sources?

Please let me know.

Hi,

At the moment, it's no possible to join Online and Download datasets.  this is planned for future release.

But yes, if you have downloaded sources (universe, flat file, download from hana) then you can Merge new columns, or append new rows depending on your use-case/unionising

this is done in the Prepare room. (there are Tutorials for this, please search for ' Lumira Merge dataset' ). Here is an example:

Please note however, that at time of writing, when you author a storyboard, you are limited to reporting off of 1 source.   If however, you are creating an Infographic, you can have components from different sources on 1 page.

the above are both known areas of enhancement, where product team want to standardise the experience between all connectivity types and 'room' paradigms.
