Is there a Data manager Package or Can we load SFTP or MFT files to BPC?

HI All,

Currently we load data to BPC from a FTP file using Data manager package "IMPORT_FILE_USING_FTP" the same way do we have any other Data Manager package to load data to BPC from a SFTP or MFT file?

Also can we load data to BPC from AL11( SAP BW Application server) ?

Hi Nagadhurga,

As far as I remember, there is no standard DMP to load data from SFTP / MFT.

Can you please help me with the process of loading data from BW application server to BPC.

As we do not have option for using SFTP for BPC file upload, we placed  the file in BW Application server and then wanted to load it into BPC.

When I look into Package Load data from flatfile: /CPMB/IMPORT , I could not find the file saved in BW application server.

Please help me complete this purpose.

Hi Nagadhurga,

First you need to load data in to BW cube and then you can load it in to BPC by using DMP.

P.S. Tomorrow I will confirm whether we can load data directly from application server or not .
