AUC Settlement and Down Payments

Hello Everyone,

I have made some down payment acquisition for AUC i-e 200,000 PKR, then material cost is charged to AUC subsequently, my question is, should this down payment be settled to Final Asset, or will it be excluded, BTW I have maintained settlement profile, what other steps am I missing in this process.

its nice to hear from you again..

As mentioned above you should exclude it from AIAB run to final asset and the D-PMT only cleared trough F-54 only..

there are SAP not talking about this subject "Sap Note 310368" you can follow if you do not need to post the D-PMT to final asset " only to Purchase order" in case you do not need this info. or you are afraid of being error while AUC settlement ..

Thanks for your valuable input, I discussed this thing with client, they don't want to charge AUC down payment cost to final Asset, however I am running into other error while settling to asset.

Message no. KD522:

Define a number range for settlement documents

Hi Yousuf,

1. Maintain no.ranges for the transaction "KOAO" in KANK

2. Maintain no.ranges for the object "CO_ABRECHN" in SNUM

Go to T.code SNUM and check whether the number ranges are maintained for your controlling area or not.

Hi Yousuf,

It should be excluded while settlement to final asset. Once you clear the advance against the AUC, this advance get cleared.
