Error During Acquisition Transaction-Depr Area 15 does not exist

Hi,

During final settlement while CWIP asset is transferred to Main asset , system is giving  "Error during acquisition transfer: Depr. area 15 does not exist. Message No : AAPO107".

• I have searched SCN communities and this query has been raised for many times and I dont know the impacts of changing or de-activating depr area.
• My scenario is, we are in testing phase, so i am testing configuration being done by me for FICO, anyways, I haven't configured tax depr keys yet, so i had deactivated them in OAYZ, unfortunately I had missed deactivating depr area 15 from AUC classes,
• Now i have created AUC and internal order statistical is used for tracking purpose, so AUC asset has two areas, 1 for real dep, and 15 for tax depr, on the contrary the receiving asset has only 1 area, area 15 is deactivated.
• When I am settling AUC to final asset, system does not allow settlement, as it says check transfer variant 6, and receiving asset does not have this dep area.

How this error will be resolved? Your valuable input would be highly appreciated.

Hi Yousuf,

Unless you activate the depreciation area 15, you cannot transfer it to main asset. So activate the dep.area for the main asset.
