MD04- The stock is not being removed even after amending the sales order

Hi All,

The sales order has been created with 1000 quantities, out of 1000 - 950 quantity has been already delivered and invoiced.

Remaining 50 quantities which has been passed to MRP.

Even though, we reduced the quantity in the sales order from 1000 to 950 but the MD04 has not been updated. We tried to update

MD04 using the program: SDRQCR21, but it is not getting updated.

Please help me you to remove this 50 quantities from the MD04.

Are you sure that this 50 belongs to the SO that you are referring to? Maybe it is 50 from a different SO. Check note 1649669 for a procedure on how to find the related SO when the number is not displayed in MD04 (i.e. you are using summarised requirements)

Hi Noel,

Yes I am sure that 50 quantities belongs to that particular SO, since we have the sales order in our Quality server, I tried to create a delivery for that particular SO, once the PGI has been done, the quantity has been removed from the MD04. That is how we confirmed the sales order and that is the only open SO for that particular plant and material.

Please let me know if you have any other program to update the MD04.

Thanks for your help.

I changed the availability check in the material master and then run the program: SDRQCR21 and resolved this issue.
