Installing Equipment in Functional Location -- Issue

Dear Experts ,

                             While I am trying to Install equipment in functional location , Functional location field is greyed out.

Snapshot is attached , kindly let me know how to change 'greyed out' field to 'Input'.

I would suggest you to check whether for your equipment category functional location installation is allowed in the IMG settings or not. It might be possible that functional location installation is not allowed for this equipment category and hence it is showing as greyed out.
