Task/Lead without BP

Hi,

I need to know whether there is a way to create Task or Lead without passing Business Partner in it. Right now whatever we create, we have to pass customer number in "Account" field.

Is there a transaction type which does not require the Account/Customer number?

Hi Sharukh,

    You need to create a new partner determination procedure and there maintain partners and respective numbers (Inyour case, no partner is mandatory).

     And In the Web_UI, for you transaction (Task / Lead) you need to configure the fields such a way that hiding the "Account" etc.

Hi Shahrukh,

1. You can make the Account field non-mandatory in transactions tasks/lead.

2. In Partner determination procedure, do not maintain any number in minimum column for partner functions (Activity partner (Tasks), Prospect (Lead).

Hi Shahrukh,

You just need to remove mandatory filed for account in the web ui. you can create task/lead or order with out account. Usually we create any order w.r.t customer that is the reason keep it as mandatory. 

And there is no need of different transaction type for the same , you can create , copy configuration page and remove the mandatory mark.
