Hi,

Try this.

Run RAGS_DSWP_SERV_CONTENT_RESET in Se38 and seclect "Remove content completely"

Goto AGS_UPDATE and apply the updates again and make sure that all is are green.

Open the EWA session that was dumping and reset session component.

Hello Kisselev

Follow the below link to rest the EWA session

I am on 7.1 and I can't figure out how to reset the session.  I found it via System Monitoring / SAP EarlyWatch Alert, but there doesn't seem to be a Reset option anywhere.

I think I figured it out.  I wish SAP would update their documentation.  7.1 is totally different and most  of the doc still references the prior release.

Thanks and Regards,

I have tried, but no luck.

Update from SAP:

The issue you are experiencing is due to the service content update that came down on your system. Development is aware of this issue and is working on a fix, which is currently in final beta testing. The solution when available will be implemented on your system automatically via the job SM:SERVICE CONTENT UPDATE that runs daily.

As a workaround to get the failed sessions to generate:

1. open AGS_UPDATE
2. click on 'Tools & Settings"
3. 'Edit' -> '(In)Activate Updates'
4. choose via F4 a date before 01.09.2016 (it is not necessary and recommended to go too far in the past)
5. click on 'Execute' or hit F8
6. NOW run the job 'SM:EXEC SERVICES'  (Do NOT apply the updates in transaction AGS_UPDATE)

For additional info please review SAP Note 1814723 - How to Reset Service Content on SAP Solution Manager 7.0 and higher [Video] !
2. Once you have reset the service content, run the job SM:EXEC SERVICES to process the failed sessions.

Note: The job SM:SERVICE CONTENT UPDATE which runs daily will download the latest Service Content again so you will need to reset the service content back to the prior date when necessary. Please note that the process above will needed to be repeated until a fix is available. More than likely this will be necessary at least once per week, likely on Monday (or your preferred day to process the EWA). Please do not disable the job SM:SERVICE CONTENT UPDATE as this is the process that will receive the fix automatically.

Thanks and Regards,

Prasad

Have a look at note 2323110 too.  RAGS_DSWP_SERV_CONTENT_RESET initially worked for me, but the problem came back after a week.

2323110 seems to have fixed it for me.
