BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA creates unwanted Plant and QM views

Hi,

We use the BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA to populate Internal Comment from MDM.

When Internal Comment is transferred to ECC, PLANT and QM views are created automatically.

We do not use this information, and do not want these views to be visible to the customer.

We have been told that the BAPI creates these views automatically when Internal Comment is populated.

We use the same BAPI for populating PO Text in ECC, and in this case PLANT and QM views are not created.

Please explain this behavior, or even better propose a solution:)

Hi Thomas,

Please go through this thread,it speaks about the QM view being created with BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA.Please check the parameters being passed.
