I have recently started using desktop intelligence, however every time I log in it freezes up

I have contacted my desktop administrator but have not been able to resolve the issue

Dear Hira,

To know the root cause of the problem, please update us with your BO version and OS version of your client machine and if You're using 2-tier or 3-tier mode.

Could you please follow these steps to resolve the issue (Please take a backup copy before making these steps):

1- Remove or move the extranet and intranet files from locdata folder in below location. (eg.
extranet file looks like <servername>@6400_j2ee.extranet) :  C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\My Business Objects Documents\LocData

2- Now  launch Desktop Intelligence.
