Hello!
I'm new to sap, so sorry if this question is absurd or something like that.
I'm trying to setup a sap-server on linux for exercising purpose in abap and java, and i would like to connect to the sap-server on the linux-server from my sap-gui running on a Windows pc.
I've spent the last 2 days searching for the right versions of linux and sap, and found out, that most probably using SLES with the SAP-NetWeaver 7.0 Trial VMware Edition would be the best way to do so.
So SLES for SAP is easy to find, but i struggle while searching for the NetWeaver 7.0 Trial VMWare Edition for ABAP and Java.
I've found these two links:
SAP NetWeaver 7.0 - Java Trial Version on Linux - VMware Edition
SAPNW7.0 VMware ABAP + Java Trial license agreement
but both seem to be broken, when i try to download the files, it say "File not Found".
Is there any easy way to receive those files?
Or am I on a completely wrong track for my purpose?
Thanks in advance!
Hi
This VMware image is not available anymore.
Check Gregor Wolf's answer in page 7 of the here under document
By the Way NetWeaver version 700 is now quite outdated...
You can make you own VM using media for 7.03 (that is 70 with Ehp3) trial version
