Hello,
I have a ITS iView for report HRWPC_FC_EXEC which has a download button which enables download/save of this report.
This download functionality works fine when I run report from backend SAPGUI.
This report is also integrated in Portal via ITS iView.
Download button doesn't work from this iView.
When clicked on this button multiple times, it shows a message 'please choose a valid function'.
Any ideas why it doesn't work from Portal iView?
Thanks & Regards,
Amey
Hi Amey,
What is your Kernel and BASIS of the Netweaver Server?
I presume you can recreate the issue when calling the WEBGUI directly?

Hello Oisin,
Thanks for reply. I am not sure exactly about these values as I need to check with Basis.
However I can tell you how the architecture here is.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Consumer portal (CE7.3 EHP1 SP) : has a remote web dynpro java iview
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Producer portal (NW7.0) : Web Dynpro Java application opens a ITS iView
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SAP ECC R/3 : ITS iView renders a report output
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please let me know if it was helpful.
Thanks & Regards,
Amey
