create search and result view ,add the custom table fields in custom component?

Hi Team,

I have custom table - ztable, 20 fields.

Now iwamt to create search and result view and add all the fields of custom table into search and result views...Could you please help here..What are the steps wee need to follow.

1->By using RAD is it possible to create...Here there is no package for RAD....?

2->Normal approach how to create ?

Hi Kalpana,

Fallow the Faisal approach if you want to fallow using RAD where as you want to fallow normal approach just go to through this links.

first of all you have to create model and provide your ztable over there. use that model into your zcomponent.

Hi Kalpana,

RAD is the best and quick solution for this. What is the problem of package?. Either you can create a new package or go with existing packages while saving. But this is the simple requirement we do via RAD. While creating, create only search view if 'create' is not required.

Also, if you create via RAD, the advantage is that you don't have to create target links, logical links etc to add the component to work center/direct links.
