Hi Kota ,

Have you performed a redirected restore of the current system . ? If yes what is the source schema name  .

1386320 - DB6: systemcopy backup / restore - SECADM authority

If not why are you using the sap schema user to take the backup . why dont you use db2<sid >?

Make the following change in your dba cockpit and try once again

in txn ( dbacockpit )

configuration -> Automatic maintenance settings enter the db2s<sid> user name and password .

Thanks ,

Manu

Hi Kota ,

Please check whether your db2tst user is ative and you are able to log into the  linux terminal using  the userid/password

Perform as detailed in the Note .

Cofigure db2<sid>/SAP<SID> user  in DBACOCKPIT

You should be fine after that

Thanks ,

Manu

Hi,

Offline backup will NO LONGER be supported in releases after SAP NetWeaver 2004S.

Refer note: 427982 - DB6: Offline backup ends with job error (DB13)

Hi Kota,

sql 1092N "SAPTST" doesnot have the authorization to perform.

Need to check required authorization for the user,as log shows user SAPTST doesn't have complete authorization to perform the action.Try to provide relevant auth's or with some other user having SAP_ALL and retry it.

Hi Gaurav Rana

      Thanks for your reply.

SAPTST is the OS level user, which user i logged on and scheduling backup had full authorization

Thanks &Regards

SAPTST  is a OS user  but it should be more importantly be your schema user ( DB6 uses OS authentication method ) . Sometimes the schema user will not have the SECadm authorizations

Also you need to specify which user is used for maintenance actions in the DBACOCKPIT

Thanks ,
