CV04n - Documents and status for BOM materials

Hello community,

I could need some help regarding a list of a BOM with document number and document status.

What I have are a lot of material numbers and as a result I want the attached document number and status to

be able to check, if a drawing has already been released or not.

What I tried was to get the material numbers out of CS12 and paste them in CV04n under tab "Object links" and "Material Master".

Problem that I am facing right now is the limited number of lines I have to paste material numbers.

Is there any kind of workaround or maybe another transaction that I could use?

Hi Marko,

you can go to SE16N and check in the DRAD table.

Object (DOKOB) is MARA and you can paste there the material numbers. Then export the document numbers and check the status with CV04N or in table DRAW.

Hi Marko,

I don't know of a report or transaction to search for documents with any number of linked objects.

But using function module BAPI_DOCUMENT_GETOBJECTDOCS you could easily write a report that selects the documents.
