Xcelsius SAP Bi Mobile and Desktop

Hi Guys,

I have been currently working with Dashboard Design and SAP BI Mobile. I have a dashboard deployed to both Desktop and Mobile. I was wondering if there is anyway in Xcelsius that can tell us if you are on the desktop or mobile? Such as can I link to a cell and it gives me some kind of notify that tells me on platform I'm on.

Hi Scottie,

Yes you can differentiate with following trick.

Step 1: Take label component and map it to A1 cell in sheet

Step 2: Put default text 'Mobile Version' in cell A1

Step 3: Take any mobile unsupported component like fisheye picture menu and map as follows

On Behavior tab

Step 4: Hide fisheye menu

Step 5: Preview in desktop mode see result then in mobile mode.

For sample kindly go through attached sample before using rename it with Sample.xlf.
