SAP MSS POWL How to hide unwanted tabs

Hi All,

In MSS POWL we want hide Few tabs as shown in below screen shot.

I am trying to configure in T.Code POWL_Cockpit --> Register Type, however i could see only feasibility to delete the relevant Application and POWL Type

But, we don't want to delete the applications, instead looking for the possibility to Hide for example MSS_POWL_CATS_APPROVAL (POWL Type Id)

Please help me with your Inputs

Hi Gita,

Method 1

In POWL_COCKPIT,select the inbox  MANAGER_MSS_INBOX_2 or MANAGER_MSS_INBOX_3

which is used in your project and select the service/ iview from these table  to remove the entries check the inbox

Method 2

POWL_QUERY checkbox  is used for activate, uncheck it, queries will be hidden for all users.

If you want to enable again ,using personalization add the entries back to enduser

RUN POWL_D01 report after these changes by selecting your application ID so that buffers will be updated with your changes.

Revert if there is any calcification

Before moving ahead let us know which platform you used webdynpro with ABAP or Java ABAP.

It can be done using the POWL configuration, First please check which Powl category is used for this scenario and then you can change the visibility in the following transactions.

POWL_CAT	Define Categories
POWL_QUERYU	Define Query Visibility at User Level
POWL_QUERYR	Query visibility at Role Level
POWL_QUERY	Define Default Queries
POWL_TYPE	Configure Worklist Type Repository
POWL_TYPEU	Define Worklist Type Visibility at User Level
POWL_TYPER	Define Worklist Type Visibility at Role Level

it is done by workflow consultants

as a portal consultant hide birth day folder like that fields only.
