In DB13 backup mode offline was disabled

Hi 

    I was successfully installed ECC6.0 SR3 system using 70swpmsp04 with kernel 7.20 on db2luw version 9.1 fixpack12. After that when i am going to schedule backup to device in the screen offline backup mode was disbled. How to enable offline option.

Hello manikanta,

Thank you for the attachment.

It is by design. For details, please refer to note#427982 and note#1027336.

Offline backup via DB13 is not supported any more. Please consider to use online backup with option "include log".

Hi Manikanta

offline backup is not possible for db13.

you can take offline backup from db level.

use the below command.

db2 "backup database SID to D:\backup\ with 12 buffers buffer 1024 parallelism 6"
