Repetitive Manufacturing with DWM

We are exploring possibility of using repetitive manufacturing together with Decentralized WM?  i.e. GR is posted with T-Code MFBF to a storage location which has Decentralized WM.

Normally when you post a GR to a storage location which has Decentralized WM, system does not really post the GR, but creates an inbound delivery which is replicated to the Decentralized WM system. After the delivery is confirmed in Decentralized WM system, the GR is posted automatically in the main system with reference to delivery.

But in case of Repetitive Manufacturing, when trying to confirm (Post Goods Receipt) against the inbound delivery in the decentralized WM, the IDOC in the main system returns an error (M7 162) as:

The given order is a product cost collector. Orders of this category cannot be processed using Inventory Management functions. If you use the product cost collector in repetitive manufacturing, post the movement with the associated repetitive manufacturing function. If you use the cost collector with production orders, you can enter the relevant order and post the movement.

Any ideas how to get around this? The client does not use production orders, PP, or MRP.

Based on our investigation and as per OSS note 847762, it seems we can't use repetitive manufacturing transactions with DWM.
