Installation for ERP 6.0-Error upload file for SR2 Inst.Export Label.asc

Hi,

During Installation of ERP 6.0 IDES.I faced on error while specifying the installation Export file. I have the file for "51034985_1 IDES SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 Inst.Export  1 of 23" .In this I have chosen file for "label.asc".

Following error message was displayed

Error:upload file for SR2 Inst.Export label.asc .

I have used Provisional manager 1.0 providing options for SR1 and SR2 only.

I have used for this installation Export files for SR3 .

Please Provide me solution for this.

Hi Mugundhan,

Instead of SWPM could you please download below Installation master dvd's (For linux OS ) & start the installation of IDES version.

Media ID you need to download is 51043756_ & 51043756_2 and start the installation by using the specified media.

Have you unzipped the export DVD ? Most probably you downloaded the wrong export dvd's .

SAP service Market Place available only for Installation Export SR3.Installation Manager Provide options for SR1 and SR2.

Hi,

Here i would suggest you to kindly follow SAP IDES installation procedures/guides first for successful implementations.I recommend you to follow SAP Note   2012989 - IDES ERP 6.0 incl. EHP7

& can download IDES ERP 6.0 with EHP7 (latest one)

After downloading complete files you'll get into *.rar or *.zip files for each download.Before execution of procedure you need to completely extract these files into the system directory & than supply label.asc file for the process to continue.

So have you extracted files or not ? If not extract & continue the installation.

Thanks for your response.

I Extracted the files .I have been face the issue is Provisional Manager 1.0 Providing only Options for the Support Release 1 and 2 .

Installation export file i have "SR3"

In below image is SAPInst.In this no option for "SR3".

Hi Mugundhan,

Download latest SWPM from service market place and ensure all the file which you downloaded correctly i believe you are facing this error due to SWPM version.

Also follow the note which is given by Gaurav for ECC 6.0 with EHP7

There is no need to download or use SWPM to install IDES version.For installation of IDES separate media is provided by SAP at SMP.

Check whether you have downloaded 70SWPM instead SWPM

Sometimes people would download it mistakenly.

also check options suggested by Gaurav.

Here 'm not convinced with above statement.As i said earlier for IDES there is no need to download or use SWPM tool.

Better to use IDES Installation master dvd's only.
