MTO Planning in PPDS

Friends,

Our current scenario is we have a network as 1 Plant Supplying to 2 Main Hubs and this Hubs deliver to different Subsidiaries in different locations across the globe. Currently if a Sales Order (MTO) is punched in lets say in Australia then the demand is shown at Hub1, Upon Heuristics a PR is created for Hub > Australia and other PR is created from Plant > Hub this is because Product is mfg in Plant only. Now we want to get rid of this scenario such that there will be only PR which will be from Plant > Subsidiary but Hub should also show the Demand. What are the changes in the current settings can some one guide me.

Hi,

In your current scenario, you have transporation lane plant -> hub -> subsidiary. If want the PR to created directly from plant -> subsidiary, then you should also have tranportaion lane form plant  -> subsidiary directly. However, then the Hub will not show the demand.

If you want the hub show the demand but the order is in the plant, you may consider to use the scenario "production in another plant",  Production in Another Location - SAP Library
but this is for inhouse production.
