Hi,
I am not sure if I understand what do you mean with:
..status selection in recipe header
In the Recipe there is a status at header level. Are you talking about this status?
If you press F1 in the status field, you will get the documentation of the field.. Note that at the top of the pop up with the documentation there is a button to access the customizing..
The customization is stored in table T412 and as you can see in SE11 or SE16 the status is independent of the task list.. same status for Routings, for Recipes, etc..
