How HU simulating in SU in multiple HU loop environment

Dear all,

As you know a Handling Unit will become a Storage Unit in WM. Hence, I would like to ask you on the following scenarios.

I have a HU (4 HUs packed in one HU which is 4 pallets packed into 1 pallet) in IM level.

Now, I am moving these five HUs into a WM location. Please see following figures and my questions.

Questions:

1 – How are the objects going to looks like in the WM environment? Does it mean the individual HU will be represented by 1 individual Storage Unit (something like the following)?

1. HU 1000 become SU 1000
2. HU1001 become SU 1001
3. HU 1002 become SU 1002
4. HU 1003 become SU 1003
5. HU 1004 become SU 1004

2 – If my above example is correct, how do I make the WM system to make the SU number similar to HU number automatically (FYI, we are using RF scanner)?

3 – As you know SU cannot be looped, hence, if no. 1 example is correct, don’t you think it is very confusing? I mean how does WM system going to simulate HU 1000 (especially physically)? Please bear in mind that we wrapped all the HU into one pallet HU (1000) using tape. Does it means business has to unwrap, which I don’t think so .. See figure below..
