Delete Planned Order for inactive materials

Is there a way I can delete planned order if material status is inactive?

When I try to change/display planned order in MD12/MD13 I get the below message and it does not let me view

But I can see planned orders for this SKU in PLAF table but not in MD04.

When I open MD04 it shows up with the below message with an empty screen (no requirements or planned orders)

Hello Manoj,

You can delete the planned order through MD16.

You can use COHV to delete planned orders.

You can use this BAPI/FM to delete planned order.

BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_DELETE or MDBA

Also you can use LSMW or BDC for MD12 deletion of planned order by extracting the planned order from PLAF table for these inactive materials MARC.

MPS planned order can be deleted by using report RMPLAF00.

MD04 shows the elements which relevant for planning as material status is inactive these order are not relevant for MRP.

On further analysis found that these are simulation orders (PLAF.OBART = 6) which is why these are not showing up in COHV, COOIS, MD04, MD12 tcodes.

How can I get rid of these from PLAF?

Hello Manoj,

It means Simulation order you can get it inside MS12 MS13 or MS04 for your Planning Scenario to Change delete simulative planned order

MPS planned order can be deleted by using report RMPLAF00.

Hello Manoj,

For that you need to activate business function LOG_PP_MIS.

Please refer SAP KBA  1819470 - Mass processing functions are missing in t-code COHV

If you use Release ECC 6.03 and activate the enterprise business function LOG_PP_MIS in transaction SFW5, you can enable this selection.

Hello,

Run MD16. You will be able to delete the planned orders even when the material is not active. I just make a test and it will fix your problem.

You can also try with program MDBAPI01.
