Disable automatic creation of Production Order from MM's Sales Order

Hi all,

May I know how do I disable the automatic creation of Production Order in PP upon creation of MM's Sales order?

I was looking at SPRO tcode but I can't figure which configuration to look at. Thank you all for your help.

Alex,

As mentioned this could be because of planning strategy Assemble To Order 82 assigned in MRP3 view of header item which automatically creates the Production orders once sales orders is been placed.

Please validate the business scenario and find any alternative strategy.

Hello

This is probably happening because the requirement type of the sales order is defined with "assembly processing".

Try to define a different planning strategy on the material master, so that a different requirement type is used for the sales order. You can try strategy 40 for MTS or strategy 20 for MTO.

Dear Alex,

Check the settings of requirement class corresponding to sales order in OVZG if the Automatic Planning indicator is flagged. The flagged indicator is instigating Auto Planned order generation directly from sales order
