material changes in sales order are not working in MD50

Hi

- My problem is : I have a sales order and one item's material is 'A' .

- I run MD50 after that the planned order is created for 'A' material.

- After MD50 running , i've changed the item's material with 'B' and i run MD50 again.

Now i have two plannned order with 'A' and 'B' material number. But i want to  delete planned order 'A' material number.

How can i solve this issue ? When i run MD01 the problem is solved. But i don't want to run MD01 because i just want to run mrp after sales order creation.

Gulsha,

This is standard behavior of the system as MD50 would not recognize the material changes and it selects only sales order item while planning where as MD02 would Check below thread

Hello,

This is as per the standard SAP system design. So in such cases if  you run MD01 /MD02 will delete all these order.

Or run transaction MDBT or program RMMRP000 to remove such orders.
