Currently we are working with SAP TM 9.1, whereby we are using the wagon No as a tracking ID from railway companies and the tracking ID in this case is a 10 digit No which is No received and viewed in rail portal . In this case how we can convert the tracking ID to something which EM system can use.
Secondly the rail companies are also providing information on the rail track No and the business wants to have a report /information of the wagons location based on the rail track No as well. How do we monitor this.
Thirdly in case the rail companies dont have EDI, how can the access to EM systems be designed in that case? Is that that thru browser link we provide access to SAP.Any inputs are welcome
