IDOCFlatToXmlConvertor fails with exception java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

Hello,

We had a configuration working for Flat File IDOC to XML but it is failing now in development system (PI 7.11 dual stack) with:

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

Maybe the source structure changed... Any ideas how can we more clearly see detail about the error?

I checked defaultTrace but didn't' find much:

Again, this used to be working so I am mostly interested in help seeing more detail about the error.

Hi Aaron,

You might be correct with a change in structure. Also check, if there was an patch upgrade happen on PI box.  Check SAP note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2051669

Thanks. I restarted the Java engine to make sure all structure caches were cleared. Still same issue.

I checked the note but it does not apply to our version.

Structure of flat file changed. I sure wish we had a better SAP tool for working with the file layouts.
