hello,

I am using the simulation tool in the BRF+ workbench to test developed rules.

I am saving the context (inputs) as variants for future use.

there is an option to export the saved variants but I am not sure where the export ends up.

any help would be appreciated.

cheers

pas.

Hi Pas,

this option exports the selectetd testvariants as a json file that you can save where you want. When you trigger the export a json file is created and depending on you browser you get an option or a dialog in order to specify where to save the file. So it is completly up to you where to store the exported variants.

Thanks for the reply Christian.

Unfortunately when I tried to export the variants I did not get the 'save where' prompt.

I am using Internet Explorer 10

Any ideas?

Cheers

Hi Pas,

I tried with IE11 and it works fine (which is no help for you)

Can you try it with Google CHrome in order to check if it is a bug of the browser (which I would guess). An alternative try is to activate the compatibility mode with IE, perhaps that helps.

Hi Christian.

Tried again with Internet Explorer 10 in compatibility mode as you suggested and it worked.

Thank you for your help.

cheers.

I encountered similar situation while exporting testing variant, but when I tried the other day in a different newworking connection, it suddenly poped up to option to save or open the downloading JSON file.
Both export and import are working fine now.
