Pos. management category from PMP 9983 is not compatable

Hi,

We have created a z product type from 60b.with product category 600. We have done all the necessary settings.

WE have assigned it to PMP 3001 for valuation area 001.

While saving the Contract we are getting following error:

Pos Management category From PMP 9983 is not compatable with ZFH.

while creating a contract with 60B product type we aren't getting any such error.

Similarly the product category is also assigned to 60b.

Please help me why 9983 is getting picked.

I assigned PMP 3000 and it resolved the error.

Hi Shreyas,

PMP assigned to product category is wrong. You are using forex exchange product type for which position management category should be ' forex transaction" instead of " Sec./Loans/M.Mkt/List.Opts.Norm.Style". To fix the issue 1st option is assign PMP to product category or change the Position management category in the assigned PMP.

Please assign the PMP procedure as per the accounting code, valuation area, product category, and produt type.
