MRP NEUPL

Hi,

Despite the daily MRP job runs with NEUPL parameter, it doesn't select all the materials and we have some materials that hasn't been planned for one day.

¿Any idea of what could be happen?

First of all. ¿Is it possible that a material can be deleted automatically from the MRP list due for any reason?

I'm not sure if these material have never been in the MRP list or, for any reason, have been deleted of it.

Hi Oscar,

Depending on how you create the materials, the material could not be updated in the planning file entry.

It is convenient to set up a job to generate the planning file entry. Use tcode MDAB. The check in MD21 to ensure the material was added in the planning fike.

I've create a job with two steps. The first step runs de report RMMDVM20 to create the Planning file entries, and the second step to Consistency check of planning entries.

Before this job the system runs the MRP job.

As stated above please show us the MRP views for that particular materials?

Also show MD04 snap shot and Please check any Planning file entries exists for those materials for NEUPL in MD21 as Regenerative planning (NEUPL): System plans all the materials that are contained in the planning file.

If not create a planning file entries MD20 or in background in MDAB and re run MRP.

Hi Óscar,

Note that NEUPL runs the MRP only if the material has an entry in the any planning file entry (MD21).

NEUPL does not create any planning file entry. Check this note:

With MDAB you can generate entries in the planning file entry in background.

Hi,

There could be multiple reasons for the same. The materials you are referring are never planned before? If so, please check the MRP type in material master. If that is not PD or VB, then  (say something like ND) it will not be planned.

another reason could be your selection in MRP run.
