Reg : Updating processing time from routing

Dear experts ,

Need few inputs on how system will update the processing time when we execute CA97N transaction.

I have a routing with base quantity 4EA which can be manufactured in 1 hour. ( on Work center -X)

So to produce 1 EA = 15 MIN . But when  execute the transaction CA97N i am able to see processing time in work scheduling view it is updates as


18.888  instead of value 15MIN..

How system is calculating the processing time unable to identify. can anyone please clarify me..?

Note : Capacity category = Machine .

Formula in work center   = Machine * Operation quantity / Base Quantity/ Operation splits.

Hello Daya,

What is operating time in the work center is it 8 Hrs or 24 Hrs?

You available capacity should operation time should be 24 Hrs and then check the same.

Work center operates on 2 shifts  : Available capacity is 16 HR

Hello,

Please check active version of the available capacity is maintained in the work center.

May your second shift going another day so check your shift timing too.

I tested as you said by changing the capacity to 24HR in work center , i was able to see the result.
