Http 403 forbidden in Side panel configuration in Webdynpro ABAP

Hello all,

I have created a CHIP in Webdynpro and need to conenct it to a side panel in another Webdynpro component.

When i go to the configuration mode and try the option 'Use side panel'  ->'create/ edit' , i get an error saying "HTTP 403 forbidden" .

Does anyone faced this issue before ?

Do i need to activate any service in SICF or do i need any authorization to run this side panel configuration ?

Hi,

The service for my Z wd application is already active in SICF.

Do i need to activate any SAP services for side panel ?

Hi all,

I managed to solve this issue.

Some services related to CHIP were inactive in SICF. I activated them and it started working.

I suggest search services in SICF with *CHIP* and activate the relevant one by one .
