me21n material does not exist error

Dear all,

when i try to create PO , the system showing material does not exist error but when i check in mara its ther .this only happens for migrated materials not for the material created in the same system.how to rectify

At least you would need to have a purchasing view, and those data are plant specific, which means you need a record in table MARC which has an E among the values in field PSTAT

What do you mean by migrated material ?

Material exist in MARA doesn't mean material was created successfully. It depends on how you have created the material master.

Can you able to see some view (like as purchasing, plant/storage location data, account data) from MM03 ? Or can you able to display these material from MM60 ?
